GWD Ad Poster
For a school project, I had to create an advertisement for my Graphic & Web Design program in two different formats: portrait and landscape, which are essentially poster and banner layouts. At the time, I had a busy weekend and accidentally forgot about the assignment. To make sure I could still submit it before the deadline, I had to work quickly and improvise my concept in a short amount of time.
In my design, I incorporated several elements that represent our Graphic & Web Design program for the advertisement, including Adobe Creative Cloud, coding, vector illustrations, paper, pencils, and electronic devices. My goal was to create a composition that would immediately capture people’s attention through its unique visuals and creativity while maintaining a clean and balanced design. Rather than cluttering the layout, I focused on creating a strong visual hierarchy that would work effectively across both the poster and banner formats.
I completed both versions in under 2 hours and still managed to submit the project on time. While I could have spent more time refining smaller details, the experience taught me how to work efficiently under pressure and make quick design decisions without sacrificing the overall quality of the final result. I’m proud of how I adapted to the challenge and successfully met the deadline.
